it comes and goes like waves
yesterday i was ok
today...
today is a different wave...
a wave that will recede
only to return again another day
today... today was a day
with the waves that overcame
overtook
washed me away
into memories
today was a wave
tomorrow it will recede
how long will i stand in this tide
of letting go
and remembering?
